Basketball

First of all HAPPY 2019!!!!!

Winter time = basketball season

and this cute kid made the 8th grade team and worked his skinny-HINEY off.
See what I mean?
Eye on the ball my boy.....

When he wasn't in he made SURE that he sat juuuuuust as close to the coach as he could to remind him he was still there. The out-of-sight-out-of-mind thing wasn't gonna work for Camden. No sireeee. Anytime the seat opened up next to the coach Camden would move to the seat in musical chairs like speed.

Royce played in the Boys and Girls club league and Brooks coached him again. He played point guard and did a good job getting the ball to others closer so they could shoot.

Emerson didn't make the 7th grade team but you wouldn't know. He managed to finagle ways to be involved. Can you spot him? 😂
THAT, my friends, is a full body spandex suit he paid for with his own money. As a courtesy to everyone on the planet he wears shorts over it. He declared himself the "mascot" and at a tournament they actually let him stay at the end of the court and dance and cheer. He had more energy than a whole cheerleading squad combined. It was hilarious.

Iris was in the cheer club at her elementary school and got a chance to cheer at the high school during one of Bronson's games. She was so pleased with herself and her little hand flutter/wave after every cheer was the BEST part.
"must NOT make eye contact with mom"
Bronson (Sophomore), got a lot of time playing JV and even many minutes playing Varsity.

Their team had a fantastic season winning Conference and going to state. Cyclone arena is my favorite high school arena I've ever been in to watch a game!
I don't know what Bronson is looking at but I like to think of this picture of him looking at Emerson in the stands being......Emerson.
The morph suit made it to the high school games too.......😳
And a few games the T-rex came.
While I allowed Emerson to be Emerson.....there were DEFINITE times that I walked in separately from him. That kid is hilarious and quite honestly everyone kept coming up to me telling how much they enjoyed watching him there DESPITE me not acknowledging my relationship to the dancing dinosaur.

Towards the end of the season the school district finally made it so students didn't have to pay to go to games.....so guess what, I actually brought all of Bronson's siblings to one of his games.
AND we decided to make signs.....because Bronson LOVES to be the center of attention and reminded how many brothers and sisters he has. #not

 Cutest cheerleaders ever. Go Cyclones!
